Kidznotes changes lives through ever-expanding participation in youth orchestras, bands, and choirs. The program engages students, pre-K through 12th grade, in an intense, fully integrated, out-of-school musical program that includes instrumental instruction, choir, music theory, general music, orchestra, and band. Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

Almost 272,000 people in our seven-county service area don’t know where their next meal is coming from. One in four children in North Carolina is at risk of hunger. The Food Shuttle saves 6 million pounds of healthy food from being thrown away and re-routes it to these people in need. Over 42% of what we distribute is fresh produce. Learn More

Big Brothers Big Sisters

We believe that all children should have the opportunity to succeed in life and live up to their full potential. As of 2015, there are 546,959 children living at or below the federal poverty level in North Carolina. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle was founded in 1998 and is one of the top mentoring agencies in the country, serving more than 1,000 of these children each year. Learn More

The Food Bank of Eastern NC

The mission of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is: No One Goes Hungry in Central & Eastern North Carolina. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through distribution centers in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, the Sandhills (Southern Pines) and Wilmington. We provide clothing to impoverished and homeless schoolchildren in Wake County with dignity and love.
